Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mount Olive for Mary Louise Bond Hollingsworth, 83 of Mount Olive, who passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2022 at Merit Health-Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg.
Reverend Brian Dickens will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Rock Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Mount Olive. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mount Olive will be in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive guests from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 205 South 4 th Street, Mount Olive, Mississippi, 39119.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Williams, Stephen Kelly, Ray Tharpe, Zach Luckey, Johnny Anderson, and Sam Sanford.
Mrs. Hollingsworth was born on September 17, 1938 in Collins, Mississippi to Vester and Annie Lou Burnham Bond. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Mrs. Hollingsworth was the owner and operator of Mary Hollingsworth Poultry Farms, and has worked in the poultry industry for numerous years. She was a member of the Maranatha Baptist Church in Mize.
Mrs. Hollingsworth was preceded in death by her parents, Vester and Annie Lou Burnham Bond; and her husband, Billy Hollingsworth.
Survivors include one son, John Hollingsworth, and his wife, Sandy of Mount Olive; one daughter, Cynthia Hollingsworth Williams, and her husband, Stanley of Mount Olive; seven grandchildren, Christopher Williams (Brittany) of Mount Olive, Ray Tharpe (Samantha) of Mount Olive, Hope Anderson (Johnny) of Raleigh, Kayla Hollingsworth of Mount Olive, Savannah Hollingsworth (Stephen) of Mount Olive, Christian Russell (Kris) of Petal, and Christy Glenn (Matthew) of Mize; and a host of great-grandchildren
