Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Mary Katherine "Kat" Hosey Raby, 63 of Collins, who passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 at her residence.
Reverend Wayne Woolwine will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Ora Cemetery in Collins. Special music will be provided by Angel Thrash and The Barber Family. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2021at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Josh Leggett, Joel Seger, Josh Goldman, Kenny Belk, Blake Hayes, Mike Gieger, Hunter Dyess, and Bucky Lott. Honorary pallbearers will Shelton Easterling, Shane Burke, and Marvin Carter.
Mrs. Raby was born on August 6, 1957 in Collins, Mississippi to William Jack Hosey, and Lonie Mae Dunn Wilson. She was a loving wife, mother, maw- maw, and sister. Mrs. Raby was a homemaker by trade. She was a member of the Reeds Chapel United Methodist Church in Louin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Jack Hosey and Lonie Mae Dunn Wilson; one brother, Wayne Hosey; one sister, Bobbie Gail Stroud; and a brother-in-law, Doyle Seger.
Survivors include her husband of thirty-four years, Bryant Raby of Collins; one son, Michael "Tiny" Thrash, and his wife, LeAnn of Seminary; four brothers, John Hosey (Tiny), and Oscar Hosey( Janet), both of Collins, Willie Wilson (Debra) of Carson, and Lamar Hosey (Janice) of Seminary; four sisters, Mae Nell Lott (Don) and Betty Jo Parmer (Ron), both of Collins, Patricia Seger of Seminary, and Tammy Lynn Ivy (Mann) of Sumrall; one sister-in-law, Cindy Hosey of Collins; five grandchildren, Angel Thrash, Cayden Thrash, Gabbi Trujillo, Bristol Thrash, and Blaine Thrash; and a host of nieces and nephews.
