Maxwell Ray Clayton
(September 9, 1947 – November 26, 2024)

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date for Maxwell Ray Clayton, 77 of Collins, who passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at the Covington County Hospital in Collins, Mississippi.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Maxwell enjoyed racing, fishing, and the outdoors.  He spent time playing pool and was a member of several billiard leagues.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vardaman Griffin and Jeanie Myrle Stapleton Sechelski.
Survivors include his sons, Jeffrey Clayton of Hattiesburg and Joseph Clayton of Bassfield; one daughter, Jacqueline Clayton Cascio (Morris) of Seminary, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several brothers and sisters.
