Michael Thomas Craft

(July 16, 1963 – June 11, 2023)

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Michael Thomas Craft, 59 of Seminary, who passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at his residence.

Brother Brian Dickens will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Bullock Cemetery in Seminary.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3302 Hwy 49, Collins, Mississippi.

Pallbearers will be John Paul Morgan, Joshua McKenzie, Cha Brown, Marshall Brown, Steve Dallas, and Jason Mooney. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard McKenzie, Chuck Brown, Mitchell Craft, Zack Wheat, Billy Farlie and Timothy Davis.

Michael was an avid hunter and fisherman. He graduated from Seminary High School in 1983. Michael has been a crane operator for Dozier Construction Company for forty years. He was a loving son, father, grandfather, and friend to all who knew him and he will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Craft.

Survivors include his sons, James Russell Craft of Pearl and Michael Edward Craft of Seminary; daughter, Lauren Craft of Pearl; mother, Sadie M McKay Craft of Sanford; sisters, Francis Craft McKenzie (Richard) of Seminary, Brenda Brown (Chuck) of Sanford and Melissa Morgan (Billy) of Perkinston; grandsons, Michael Azaiden Craft and Maddix Monroe Craft.
