Nathan was an exceptional young man who loved making people laugh and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was an avid outdoorsman and motorcyclist, who loved tinkering with his bike, and all things mechanical. He enjoyed playing guitar, and occasionally composing his own riffs. Prior to joining the Air Force, Nathan had been an Eagle Scout, and after high school had spent two years in various countries in Africa doing Christian missionary work and performing service projects ranging from building and repairing shelters to removing snakes from rural homes, which he greatly enjoyed.
Nathan was currently serving his country in the Air Force, where he had attained the rank of Senior Airman in the 7th Component Maintenance Squadron at Dyess AFB, supporting B-1B Lancer Egress systems. Additionally, Nathan had enrolled in college working towards a business degree.
Separate Military memorial services will be held at Dyess AFB, Abilene, TX on December 28 for Nathan. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his father, Daniel Duncan, his mother, Lacey Pimentel, his sons, Owen and Liam Duncan, his fiancée, Kim, his maternal grandparents, Anthony and Brenda Hamilton, his paternal grandparents, Royce Lee and Diane Duncan, his sisters, Alaina Duncan, Katelyn Skerlong (Andrew) and Meagan Duncan.
