Nicholas Shane Walker

(August 5, 1985 – November 26, 2021)

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Smith County for Nicholas Shane Walker, 36 of Seminary, who passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021 at the Covington County Hospital in Collins.

Brother Reece Douglas Jr. will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Smith County.  Special music will be provided by his nieces and nephew, Alvie Walker, Trulee Walker, and Baily Walker.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Shane was born on August 5, 1985 in Covington County, Mississippi.  He was a loving son, brother, grandson, and uncle.  Shane worked as a labor hand in the tank manufacturing industry until his decline in health.  He was a member of the Sunset Baptist Church in Collins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Ruby Chisholm; his maternal grandfather, James Homer McLemore; and his paternal grandfather, Marshall Sherman Walker.

Survivors include his parents, Timothy and Tonya McLemore Walker of Collins; his fiancee, Kristin Denham of Seminary; two brothers, Timothy Jacob Walker, and his wife, Alison of Mount Olive and Joseph Taylor Walker, and his wife, Lauren of Seminary; one sister, R'Lee Grace Walker of Collins; his paternal grandmother, Sandra Lee Walker of Collins; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.  He is also survived by some other relatives, Jack Browning, Blake Browning, and Lexi Browning.
