Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Blakely Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins, Mississippi for Opal Melinda Harvey, 73 of Collins, who passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at the Forest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Brother Reece Douglas Jr. will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Blakely Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins. Billy M, King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3302 Hwy 49, Collins, Mississippi.

Pallbearers will be Scott White, Shad Harvey, Jacob Harvey, Mike Graham, John Sasser, and Lance Sasser.
Mrs. Harvey was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edgar Sasser and her mother, Ruby Sellers Sasser.

Survivors include her husband, Randall Harvey of Collins, MS; son, Chris Harvey of Chatom, AL; daughter, Marsie Harvey White (Scott) of Collins, MS; brothers, Bennie Sasser of Collins, MS and Marty Sasser of Collins; granddaughters, Lexy Harvey of Oxford, MS and Hali-Anna Harvey of Oxford, MS; and her mother-in-law, Bonnie Lee Sellers Harvey of Collins.
