Funeral services will be held at 03:00 pm on Monday, January 9, 2023 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Ozella Eurice "Todie" Lott Spence, 93 of Collins, who passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at the Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg.
Rev. Mike Davis will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 01:30 pm until 03:00 pm on Monday, January 9, 2023 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3302 Hwy 49, Collins, Mississippi.
Pallbearers will be Robin Kidd, Tim Kidd, Ryan Kidd, Bryce Kidd, Lester Sanford, and Virian Easterling.
Mrs. Spence, was born on August 7, 1929 in Pineville Mississippi, to George W. and Katie Thornton Lott. She was affectionally known as Todie, to her family and friends. Todie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was very passionate about her love for Jesus, and showed it in her daily activities. Todie set an amazing example of unconditional love for her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. "Bill" Spence; her parents, George W. and Katie Thornton Lott; two brothers, Ray Lott and Denson W. Lott; and two sisters, Clemmie Lott Sullivan and Eula Mae Lott Wilson.
Survivors include her two daughters, Brenda Joyce Cardwell, and her husband, Ron of Davidson, North Carolina, and Sandra Jean Kidd, and her husband, Ed of Maysville, Georgia; one sister, Georgia Lott Reece, and her husband, Junior of Collins; three grandchildren, Robin Allen Kidd, and his wife, Laura, Timothy Mack Kidd, and his wife, Megan, and Carrie Joyce Cardwell; seven great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Kidd, Ryan Kidd, Bryce Kidd, Mackenzie Kidd, Bellamy Kidd, Beau Kidd, and Bloom Princell; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
