Trish was born on a Saturday morning, at home on Rural Route One, Mt. Olive, MS. to Bilbo and Mildred Gentry Dickerson.  She was the youngest of three children.  She started school at Yawn, transferred to Salem, and graduated with her class of 1962, at Collins High School. Trish was active in her church, New Liberty Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. She was saved there during a July revival as a young child. She taught Sunday School for multiple years and continued to remain faithful until her declining health. She was a member of the Covington County Homemakers Club, and was always crafting, baking, or finding a new project to complete. Trish later worked with the Mississippi State University Extension Service out of Covington County, as a Bright Futures Instructor, going into high schools in both Smith and Covington Counties, teaching children the importance of healthy food choices.  She retired in order to take care of the love of her life, Jerry.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Gerald David "Jerry" Gregg. They were high school sweethearts. Although, she was never blessed with children of her own, she has always helped nurture children from all walks of life.  Trish was known for always encouraging those in Sunday school, swim classes, classroom students, and teachers, and her many nieces and nephews. Trish was also preceded in death by her parents, Bilbo and Mildred Gentry Dickerson; one brother, Kenneth Ray Dickerson; one sister, Shelby Jean Dickerson Corley; two brothers-in-law, Dr. Billy Ray Gregg and John E.(Bugg) Corley; one sister-in-law, Frances Barber Gregg; two nieces, Faye Dickerson Baker and Tina White Dickerson; and two nephews, Tim Cooper and Silas Rojas.

"Aunt Trish", as we all liked to call her, will be remembered by her nephews and nieces, Johnny Corley (Sherry) of Taylorsville; Cindy Corley Dilmore (David) of Mt. Olive; Ray Dickerson of Collins; Colin Dunderdale (Mia) of San Antonio, Texas; Joseph Moore Gregg (Flora) of Prattville, Alabama; Kathy Dunderdale, Tricia Rojas, and Lisa Cooper, all of Hattiesburg; Nathan Gregg (Erika) of Noblesville, Indiana,; Connie Hatch (Darwin) of Folks Ville, Pennsylvania; Tammie Gregg of Prattville, Alabama; and Nancy Bice (Bob) of Prattville, Alabama; Great nieces and nephews: Jonathan Corley, Catherine Leanne Lovato (Johnathan), Ryan Windham (Dixie), Erica Windham (Eric), Matthew Dilmore, Cortnee Kennedy (Jacob), Michael Dickerson (Stacie), Jake Dickerson (Shelby), Stanley Baker (Desirea), Nathan Cooper, Christy Vreeland (Todd), Cassandra Rocha Al Qurashi (Mazim), Ethan Gregg, Owen Gregg, and Lila Kate Gregg, and great- great nieces and nephews, Gracie, Zhane, Rosabelle, John Paul, Mason, Madelyn, Ethan, Avery, Shelby, Grayson, Landree Mae, Nora, McKayla, Jaxon, Ava, Kent, Macen, Crimson, Jacob, Hanna, Jeanna, and Mohamed.

The family wishes to thank the Deaconess Hospice Care Group of Laurel, MS. We are so grateful for the love and concern shown to Aunt Trish, throughout her home care, by all nurses, aides, the chaplain, and the social worker.
