Patricia Ann Ishee Perkins
(June 7, 1944 – December 4, 2024)


Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the Union South Baptist Church in Seminary for Patricia Ann Ishee Perkins, 80 of Seminary, who passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at the Harriet`s House in Sumrall, MS.


Dr. Barry Armstrong and Reverend Cliff Lazenby will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Union South Baptist Church Cemetery in Seminary.  Special music will be provided by Mr. Noah Sanford and Mr. Lyndell Perkins.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.


The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the Union South Baptist Church, 91 Union Church Road, Seminary, MS. 39479.


The pallbearers will be Landon White, Hunter McLaurin, Seth White, Noah McLaurin, Blake Rogers, and Darron White. Honorary pallbearers will be Pete Cascio, Gene Suddath, Ike Sanford, Rufus Trigg, Murphy Wilson, Philip Anderson, Rayford Mooney, and Billy Folkes.


Mrs. Perkins was born on June 7, 1944, in Jones County, Mississippi, to Barney and Virginia Bush Ishee.  She retired from Bank Corp South after twenty-five years of service as a customer service representative.  Mrs. Perkins was a member of the Union South Baptist Church.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.  Mrs. Perkins enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and will be greatly missed by them all.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Barney and Virginia Bush Ishee.

Survivors include her husband of sixty-two years, Alfred Brantley Perkins of Seminary; three daughters, Sonja Perkins Cascio (Pete) of Hattiesburg, Angela Perkins White (Darron) of Collins, and Kimberly Perkins Suddath (Gene) of Laurel; two brothers, Billy Ishee of Cypress, Texas, and George E. Ishee of Huntsville, Alabama; two sisters, Mary Ishee Simmons of Huntville, Alabama, and Carolyn Ishee Lovett of Jackson; six grandchildren, Erin G. Rogers (Blake), Laken D. Guelker, Landon R. White (Kamryn), Seth White (Mallory), Hunter R. McLaurin (Ryleigh), and Noah McLaurin (Halee Burnham); five great-grandchildren, Bentley Rogers, Adeline Rogers, Briar Rogers, Olivia McLaurin, and Reece McLaurin; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The Perkins family would like to extend their appreciation and thanks to the staff and caretakers of Harriet's Place in Sumrall for their loving care that was given to their mother.
