Patricia Lee Norris
(March 15, 1952 – November 4, 2024)

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at the Rock Hill Baptist Church in Sumrall for Patricia Lee Norris, 72, who passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024 at her residence in Sumrall, Mississippi.

Brother Gary Bridges and Brother Reese Douglas Jr. will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the W.T. Norris Cemetery at 11 T. Norris Lane in Bassfield. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at the Rock Hill Baptist Church, Rock Hill Church Road, Sumrall, Mississippi.

Pallbearers will be Joey Runnels, Greg McRaney, Brian McRaney, Alex Brumfield, Tony Crosby, and Chris Burge. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Daley, Corrin Roberts, and Toby Norris.

She was an avid reader and loved reading her Bible.  She enjoyed doing for others and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was very active in her church.  She had a giving heart and loved giving things to others.  Her Godly example can be summed up by Colossians 3:23-24, " And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Earl Vowell;  mother, Esther Lorraine Pickett Vowell.

Survivors include her husband, William Donald Norris of Sumrall, MS; one son, Donny Norris (Wanda) of Bassfield; one daughter, Lori Norris Brumfield (Alex) of Tylertown; six grandchildren, Toby Norris (Anna), Jessi Carballo, Corrin Roberts (Taylor), Molly Roberts, Jimmy Daley and Melanie Kohnke (Hunter);  brothers, Robert"Bobby" Vowell (Gail) and Glen Reid Vowell; three great grandchildren, Manny Carballo, Ryleigh Carballo and Grayson Roberts.
