Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2020, at The Rock Church in Laurel, Mississippi, for Patsy A. Kitchens Martin, 59 of Vance, Alabama, who passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at the Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Bro. Jerry Rowley, Jr., Billy Tallant, Bro. R.A. Emerson, and Bro. Scott A. Kitchens will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Jesus Name Apostolic Church Cemetery in Seminary, Mississippi. Special music will be provided by Mrs. Misti Lambert and Kelly Hicks. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2020, at the The Rock Church, 635 Hwy 15 South, Laurel, MS 39443.
Pallbearers will be Jarod Hand, Christian Terry, Lee Hand, Javan Hand, Jon Martin, and Don Martin.
Mrs. Martin was born on June 1, 1961, in Collins, Mississippi. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, and sister. She was devoted to her church and to serving the Lord. She will be greatly missed by all of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill Kitchens and Anita Lowery Kitchens; one great-granddaughter, Makenna Terry; one brother, Billy Kitchens.
Survivors include three sons, Duwanyne Martin (Angie) of Vance, Alabama, Mardy Martin of Vance, Alabama, and Jason Martin of Vance, Alabama; four grandchildren, Katlyn Martin of Vance, Alabama, Adysen Martin of Vance, Alabama, Alexis Martin of West Blocton, Alabama, and Shelby Martin of McCalla, Alabama; two sisters, Tammy Hand (Lee) of Mize, Mississippi and Carolyn McRee (Don) of Ellisville, Mississippi; a host of other family members and friends.
