Obituary

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at the Williamsburg United Methodist Church in Collins for Patsy Lou Lott Daniel, 80, of Collins, who passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family and friends. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until service time at the church.

Reverend Bob Lytle will officiate at the services and special music will be provided by Lynne Maskew and Justin Duckworth.

Mrs. Daniel was born on October 21, 1936, in Collins, Mississippi. She had a zest for life that she shared with family and was a caregiver to many people from all walks of life. Mrs. Daniel was a successful entrepreneur who operated several business—the two most dear to her were Patsy's Salon of Beauty and The Four Seasons Dress Shop. She was a dedicated member of the Williamsburg United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pat Harrison Lott and Velma Lou Elam Lott; and her sister, Betty Florence Lott Sanford.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Homer Glynn Daniel, Sr. of Collins; two sons, Homer Glynn Daniel, Jr. and his wife, Gail; Derrell Pat Daniel and his wife, Penny, all of Collins; and two daughters, Serita Ann Daniel Graves and her husband, Gene, of Bassfield; and Mary Mechelle Daniel Duckworth and her husband, Joel, of Sumrall; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Williamsburg United Methodist Church Parsonage Fund, 17 Sunset-Williamsburg Road, Collins, Mississippi 39428.
