Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2020, at the Bullock Cemetery in Seminary for Paul Edward Pierce, 46 of Seminary, who passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2020, at his residence.
Pastor John Reid and Brother Tim Saucier will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Bullock Cemetery in Seminary. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins. The funeral home will adhere to the state's protocol on social distancing and no more than ten people in the funeral home at one time.
Pallbearers will be Billy Joe Lott, Joey Pickering, Chad Smith, Joe McQueen, Sterling Craft, Phillip Hux, Tal Pickering, and Bobby Faler. Honorary pallbearers will be Easton Pierce, Tony Pierce, Luke Pierce, Glenn Davis, Clint Williams, and Mason Hurtt.
Mr. Paul was a hardworking man who loved his family and friends. He enjoyed spending his weekends at the creek, throwing horse shoes, fishing, and watching the Dallas Cowboys. He never met a stranger, and would give the shirt off his back. He was always the life of the party and will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and community. PER KAK!!
He was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Pierce.
Survivors include two daughters, Kalie Pierce Williams and her husband, Clint of Seminary, and Kelsie Pierce of Seminary; one son, Easton Pierce of Seminary; his parents, Edward Luther and Claudeane "Sally" Lee Thames Pierce of Seminary; five grandchildren, Rhett Williams, Cameron Williams, Casey Williams, Riley Hurtt, and Jennings Hurtt, all of Seminary; one brother, Tony Pierce and his wife, June of Seminary; one sister-in-law, Diane Pierce of West Virginia; and numerous cousins, other family members, and friends.
