Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Paul William Zimmerman, 84 of Collins, who passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at the Bedford Care Center in Petal.

Mrs. Kimberly Jordan Jones will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Willow Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins with military rites at graveside. Billy M, King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Parrett, Reggie Jones, Joe Humphrey, and Todd Jones.

Mr. Zimmerman was born on March 31, 1933 in Fon Du Lac, Wisconsin. He was an Electrician by trade. Mr. Zimmerman served 4 years in the United States Navy on the USS Polk County LST 1084. He was a member of the Catholic faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Zimmerman and Nenita Riviers Zimmerman McPoland ; his step father, Clifford C. McPoland ; and one daughter, Kimberly Zimmerman.

Survivors include his daughter, Nenita Karen Jordan and her husband, Billy Pat of Collins; one son, Anthony T. "Tony" Zimmerman and his wife, Melinda Zimmerman of Petal; 8 Grandchildren; 7 Great-Grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
