Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 7, 2022, at the Eminence United Methodist Church Cemetery in Seminary for Pearl Leggett Tanner, 88, of Collins, who passed away on Tuesday. November 1, 2022, at her residence.
Reverend Rodney Smith will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Eminence United Methodist Church Cemetery in Seminary. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 7, 2022, at the Eminence United Methodist Church.
Pallbearers will be Tony Rigney, James Williams, Cody Sanford, Zane Collins, Danny Leggett, Mike Leggett, and Ronnie Kelly.
Mrs. Tanner was born on November 3, 1933, in Collins, Mississippi. She graduated from Seminary Attendance Center, and Mississippi State University with a Bachelor's degree. Mrs. Tanner retired from Chain Lighting and Appliances in Hattiesburg after thirty-five plus years of services as the Office Manager and Bookkeeper. She was a member of the Eminence United Methodist Church Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Alice Williamson Leggett; two sisters, Floy Leggett Saul and Gladys Leggett Butler; and two brothers, Kenneth Leggett and Thomas Leggett.
Survivors include a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
