Peggy Joyce Hollingsworth, 79, of Mount Olive, MS, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018, at her home. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Monday, August 6, 2018, at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mount Olive followed by graveside services at 12:30 PM at the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Magee, MS.

Dr. Bob Phillips will officiate the services with interment to follow. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lee Hollingsworth Sr; parents, Breland and Mattie Mae Williamson; sons, Keith Warren Hollingsworth and Scott Allen Hollingsworth; sisters, Billie Doris Thames, Jo Ann Maddox Lingle, and Mary Nell Hales.

Survivors include her son, Walter Lee Hollingsworth Jr., Magee, MS; grandchildren, Kelly Stringer (Mitch), Madison, MS, Walter Lee "Trey" Hollingsworth III,  Magee, MS, Kacey Thomas (Chad), Natchez, MS, Jacob "Jake" Hollingsworth, Hattiesburg, MS; great grandchildren, Byars Hollingsworth, Benji Thomas, Elizabeth Stringer and Harmon Stringer; siblings, Truman Williamson (Shirley), Crystal Springs, MS, Jimmie Carol Johnson (Bob), Byram, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family would ask for memorials to be made to the First Baptist Church of Mount Olive.
