Perry Don Speed
(April 26, 1962 – January 28, 2022)

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Perry Don Speed, 59 of Collins, to who passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022 in Collins, MS, in his home surrounded by family who adored him.

Bro. Joseph Bird will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Station Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins.  Billy M, King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3302 Highway 49, Collins, MS 39428.

Perry was a machinist for Warren Industry and later in life a mechanic and jack of all trades.

Pallbearers will be John Speed, David Speed, Joe Speed, Joshua Speed, Hunter Speed, and Justin Speed.

He was preceded in death by his father, Fenton Speed, mother, Bessie Strebeck, brothers, Jackie Lynn Speed and Brent Strebeck.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Ginger Kay Speed, son, Joshua Jay Speed (Terri), daughter, Gracie Speed, grandchildren, Kaitlyn Speed, Hunter Speed, Lexi Seal, brothers, Joe Speed (Maggie Sue), David Speed (Sylena), John Speed (Judy), Charlie Strebeck (Shanna) and a host of nieces and nephews.
