Rachel Ann Turnage Guillory

(June 15, 1946 – March 1, 2024)

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Rachel Ann Turnage Guillory, 77 of Fernwood, who passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024. at her residence in Fernwood, Mississippi

Reverend Philip Burns will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Williamsburg Methodist Church Cemetery in Collins. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 04:30 pm until 08:00 pm on Monday, March 4, 2024, at the Billy M. King Funeral Home, 3202 US Highway 49, Collins, MS.

Pallbearers will be family members and friends.

Mrs. Guillory was born on June 15, 1946, in Mize, Mississippi to Ray Scott Turnage and Mary Alice Campbell Turnage. She retired after numerous years of service as a licensed practical nurse in the healthcare industry.  Mrs. Guillory was a member of the Crossroads Baptist Church in Sumrall.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.  Mrs. Guillory enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.  She will greatly be missed her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray Scott Turnage and Mary Alice Campbell Turnage; two sons, Terry Wayne Miller and Tracy Scott Miller; three brothers, Danny Carl Turnage, Dave Carol Turnage and Sammy Ray "Bo" Turnage; one sister, Mary Lynn Powell; and one grandson, Joseph Hayden Fagan.

Survivors include her husband of thirty years, Chris Guillory of Fernwood; one son, Tony Craig Miller of Sumrall; one daughter, Wanda Carol Thompson (Mike) of Bassfield; one sister, Clara Faye Hutchinson of Prentiss; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
