Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at the New Chapel United Pentecostal Church in Collins for Randall Lee Evans, 55 of Collins, who passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at the Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.
Brother Ken Hickman and Brother Phil Hickman will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Old Chapel Cemetery in Collins. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home and from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at the New Chapel United Pentecostal Church in Collins.
Pallbearers will be Howard Flowers, Lynn Lott, Bobby Grey, Clay Thornton, Johnny Ray McDonald, Ray Griffith, Michael Mapp, and Thomas "Hoss" Kirkley.
Mr. Evans was born on August 12, 1965 in Prentiss, Mississippi to Robert Lee Evans and Frances Louise Ramsey Evans. He was a loving son, father, grandfather, and brother. Mr. Evans retired from the Covington County Schools after thirty-five years of service as a shop foreman. He was a member of the New Chapel United Pentecostal Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee Evans and Frances Louise Ramsey Evans.
Survivors include one son, Jonathan Evans, and his wife, Darseay of Carson; two granddaughters, LaVada Laine Evans and Arabella Raine Evans; two sisters, Renee Evans Graves, and her fiancé, Steve Gambrell of Taylorsville and Cindy Morgan, and her husband, Buddy of Hoboken, Georgia; two brothers, James Evans and Johnny Evans, both of Collins; and a host of other family members and friends.
