Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at the Blakely Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins for Randall Harvey, 75 of Collins, who passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at the Covington County Hospital in Collins.
Brother Reece Douglas, Jr. will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Blakely Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3302 Hwy 49, Collins, Mississippi, 39428.
Pallbearers will be Russell Harvey, Bennie Sasser, Marty Sasser, Shad Harvey, Jacob Harvey, Cody Harvey, Mike Graham, and Scott White. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Craft, Rick Sexton, and Jerry Cleveland.
Mr. Harvey was born on February 27, 1947 in Collins, Mississippi. He was a graduate of the Mt. Olive High School. Mr. Harvey retired after numerous years of service in the carpentry industry. He was a member of the Blakely Creek Baptist Church in Collins. Mr. Harvey was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Melinda Sasser Harvey; his father, John Wiley Harvey; and one brother, William Tony Harvey.
Survivors include one daughter, Marsie Harvey White, and her husband, .Scott of Collins; one son, Chris Harvey of Chatom, Alabama; his mother, Bonnie Lee Sellers Harvey of Collins; two granddaughters, Lexy Harvey and Hali-Anna Harvey, both of Oxford; one brother, Russell Harvey of Collins; two sisters, Betty Harvey Fry, and her husband, Darroch of Katy, Texas, and Barbara Harvey Graham, and her husband, Mike of Collins; and a host of nieces and nephews.
