Randall Bennett Mitchell

(July 10, 1970 – August 14, 2023)

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at Willow Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins for Randall Bennett Mitchell, 53, of Collins, who passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023, at his residence.

Reverend Lee Faler will officiate the services with interment to follow. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Randall was born July 10, 1970, in Collins to John Wayne and Sarah Mitchell. At three years old, he said "I just love God, don't you!" As an adult, he earned an associate's degree and most recently worked as a hotel manager. He had a love for music, reading, and technology, and he is lovingly remembered for his selfless, loving, and sometimes hyper personality. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Wayne Mitchell; and one brother, Charles Wayne Mitchell.

Survivors include his daughter, Andria Michelle Mitchell Nolan (David) of Eudora, MS; mother, Sarah Nell Sterling Mitchell of Collins, MS; brothers, Darrell Mitchell (Diana) of Collins, John Scott Mitchell (Shirley) of Nesbit, MS, Rex Shannon Mitchell of Collins; grandson, Alex Mitchell; granddaughter, Brenna Mitchell; and many extended family members and friends.
