Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Reggie Wayne Sullivan, Sr., 74 of Collins, who passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at his residence.
Pastor Randy McLeod will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the County Line Baptist Church Cemetery in Ellisville. Special music will be provided by Chuck May. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive guests from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3202 Highway 49, Collins, Mississippi.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Sullivan, Jordan Haley, Dustin Ewing, Daegan Reynolds, Landon Prejean, and Stuart Breland.
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Reggie Sullivan, a devoted husband, a loving father, and a true friend to many. Reggie was a man of unwavering dedication—to his family, his work, his community, and above all, to his Savior, Jesus Christ. His steadfast faith shaped every aspect of his life, guiding him to live with purpose, humility, and love.Known for his boundless generosity and compassionate spirit, Reggie never hesitated to lend a helping hand. He would give the shirt off his back—and his socks too—to someone in need, a reflection of the selflessness and deep empathy that defined his character.Reggie approached life with integrity and a tireless work ethic. Whether providing for his loved ones or supporting those around him, he led by example, instilling in others the values of kindness, humility, resilience, and faith. His warm smile, quick wit, and sincere heart left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.Though he may no longer walk among us, the love he shared, the faith he lived by, and the legacy he leaves behind will continue to live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. Reggie Sullivan will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Carl "Mutt" Sullivan and Velma Greene Sullivan; one brother, Buddy Sullivan; one brother-in-law, John Edwards; and two sisters-in-law, Hilda Anton and Sue Smith.
Survivors include his wife, Elsie Temple Sullivan of Collins; four sons, Reggie Sullivan, Jr. (Lisa) of Saucier, Billy Ryals (Jessica) of Petal, Brad Cole (Yong) of Ocean Springs, and Chad Reynolds of Collins; three daughters, Lisa Ewing (Dirk) of Woolmarket, Gabby Clark (Brandon) of Texarkana, Texas, and Ashlee Horner (Patrick) of Canyon Lake, Texas; fourteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, Travis Sullivan (Frances) of Killeen, Texas, Bobby Sullivan (Ollie) of Saucier, and Keith Sullivan (Pam) of Gulfport; one sister, Charlotte Edwards of Perkinston; five brothers-in-law, Dan Temple, Dale Temple, Mac Temple, Jessie Temple and Dwight Temple and one sister-in-law, May Bush (Bonard) of Seminary.
