Rhonda Joyce Grantham Guy

(November 5, 1953 – January 12, 2021)

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 15, 2021, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins, Mississippi for Rhonda Joyce Grantham Guy, 67 of Collins, Mississippi, who passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Reverend Ken Hickman will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the New Chapel United Pentecostal Church Cemetery in Collins, Mississippi.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 15, 2021, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, Collins, Mississippi.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Mrs. Rhonda was a loving mother, a beloved sister and a caring daughter. She would go out of her way to help someone in need no matter the circumstance. She definitely loved being around her sons and had many different friends from all walks of life including a tight bond with her mother-in-law Christine Sterling. She worked at one job (Head Start) for over 30 years helping children get an education. Our mom will be definitely missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Carl Sterling; her parents, James Edmond Grantham and Mary Corzella Bounds Grantham; two brothers, James Ellison Grantham and Nathan Grantham; and two sisters, Viola Grantham Hennis and Linda Grantham Lott.

Survivors include her three loving sons, Shane Robin Sterling of Petal, Carlos Michael Sterling of Petal, and Patrick Neal Sterling of Petal; two brothers, Roy Grantham and Kent Allen Grantham both of Sumrall; and a host of other family members and friends.
