Richard John Kitchens

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 3, 2022, at Billy M. King Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Richard John Kitchens, 60, of Seminary, who passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at his home in Seminary.

Reverend Glenn Shoemake will officiate the services with interment to follow at the Jesus Name Apostolic Church Cemetery in Seminary. Billy M. King Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Collins will be in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 3, 2022, at Billy M. King Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3302 Highway 49, Collins, MS 39428.

Pallbearers will be David Robinson, John Pitts, Josh Layton, Mike Norris, Trevor St. Pierre, and Quincy St. Pierre. Cade St. Pierre will be an honorary pallbearer.

Richard worked as a cashier at his father's grocery store for many years. He enjoyed fishing and spending time on the water.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George Benjamin and Mary A. Kitchens, and his maternal grandparents, Louis and Bernice Plaisance.

Surviving Relatives include his parents, Raeford and Louverda Kitchens, his sisters, Mary Norris and her husband Mike, Wanda Kitchens, and Cindy Robinson and her husband David, three nephews, Quincy St. Pierre, Trevor St. Pierre and his wife Lauren, and Cade St. Pierre, two nieces, Caitlin Layton and her husband Josh, and Kelcee Pitts and her husband John, five great-nieces, two great-nephews, and numerous other relatives.
