A private family service will be held at a later date for Richard J. Poupa, Jr., 62 of Collins, who passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at his residence.
Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Poupa was born on October 24, 1954 in Berwyn, Illinois. He was a self-employed general contractor and electrician. Mr. Poupa was a member of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard J. Poupa, Sr., and Gladys Evelyn Lewis Poupa.
Survivors include his wife of forty-four years, Deborah Carrara Poupa of Collins; one son, Richard J. Poupa, III of Collins; one daughter, Crystal Poupa Wood of Collins; four grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
