Richard Hayward "Ricky" Williams

(April 12, 1956 – April 1, 2020)

Graveside services for the immediate family will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at the Seminary Cemetery for Richard Hayward "Ricky" Williams, 63 of Seminary, who passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at his residence.

Dr, Barry Armstrong will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Seminary Cemetery in Seminary.  Special music will be provided by Mrs. Amber Folkes Chancelor and Miss Cameron Chancelor.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Williams was born on April 12, 1956 in Collins, Mississippi.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.  Mr. Williams was a construction worker by trade, and was employed by Turner Industries in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  He was a member of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lynwood Williams, Sr. and Helen Williams Lott; his son, Christopher Wesley Folkes; and one brother, John Wayne Williams.

Survivors include his wife of thirty-six years, Vickie Pickering Williams of Seminary; two daughters, Mandy Williams Barrett, and her husband, Jason of Seminary, and  Amber Folkes Chancelor, and her husband, Jon of Hattiesburg; his step-father, Denson Lott of Collins; seven grandchildren, Cameron Chancelor, Reagan Chancelor, Brady Chancelor, Ryelan Barrett, Connor Barrett, Gracie Barrett, and Ellie Kate Barrett; one sisters, Frances Williams Speed, and her husband, Wilford of Collins; two brothers, Lynwood Williams, Jr. and his wife, Esther of Collins and Ross Williams, and his wife, Gayle of Seminary; a sister-in-law, Flora "Tobie" Williams of Runnelstown; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
