Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, February 8, 2019 at the Seminary Cemetery in Seminary for Robby Russell Beasley, 53 of Collins, who passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019 at his residence.
Brother Glenn Shoemake will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Seminary Cemetery in Seminary. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 8, 2019 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins.
Pallbearers will be Russell Beasley, Rodger Jackson, Justin Owens, Jimmy White, Rusty Hilton, and Shad Harvey.
Mr. Beasley was born on March 6, 1965 in Collins, Mississippi. He was a mechanic and truck driver by trade. Mr. Beasley was a member of the Methodist faith, and attended the Seminary United Methodist Church as a youth.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Russell "Bobby" Beasley; and his sister, Sherry Beasley, and a grandson, Braedyn Blackwell.
Survivors include two daughters, Sherry Beasley Owens, and her husband, Justin of Collins, and Sarah Blackwell of Louisiana; three sons, Rusty Derek Beasley, and his wife, Brittney of Collins, Robby Russell Blackwell and Russell Dewayne Blackwell, both of Louisiana; his mother, Thelma Jones Beasley of Collins; his step-mother, Shirley Byrd Beasley of Seminary; three brothers, Ernie Beasley of Collins, Russell Beasley, and his wife, Michelle of Seminary, and Rodger Jackson, and his wife, Kathy of Purvis; eight grandchildren, Bentley Owen, Zackary Derek Beasley, Alexis Michelle Beasley, Jeramiah Blackwell, Noel Blackwell, Issac Blackwell, Micah Hand, and Joshua Blackwell; and a host of nieces and nephews.
