Robert 'Sidney' Arinder Sr., 69, of Seminary, Mississippi, passed Saturday at Covington County Hospital in Collins, Mississippi. He was born Saturday, October 30, 1948 in Scott County, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Trinity Baptist Church in Seminary, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Trinity Baptist Church and the Burial will follow in Trinity Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Dewayne Simmons, Bro. Tom Scarlett, Bro. Tim Sauicer and Robert Sidney Arinder Jr. will officiate. Billy M. King Funeral Home of Collins is in charge of arrangements. (601) 765-1010
Anyone who knew Sidney can attest that he was an avid hunter and fisherman, he loved his family, and he always had a joke to tell. Sidney worked construction for many years, building many beautiful homes. He was the type of man who could do anything.
He was preceded in death by Clyde Arinder (Father), Molly Arinder (Mother), Tony Michael Arinder (Son), Hubert Arinder (Brother), Indinola Goodman (Sister), Arbell Easterling (Sister), Burnell Arinder (Brother), Dotsy Jean Nix (Sister), Moody Arinder (Brother).
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Dorothy Marie Arinder, Robert Sidney Arinder Jr. (Nancy) (Son), Joannie Marie Harrell (Dustin) (Daughter), Brian Michael Arinder (Allison) (Grandson), Robert Scott Arinder (Kristen) (Grandson), Conner Joseph Harrell (Grandson), Brittany Michelle Arinder (Granddaughter), Carlee Marie Harrell (Granddaughter), Robert Waylon Arinder (Great-grandson), Cash Michael Arinder (Great-grandson), Minnie Pearl Nelson (Sister), and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Richard Bond, Dewayne Davis, Dickie Davis, Roger Weber, Roy Neal Arinder, and Herschel Perrin.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ken Parker, and Tyler Johnson.
