Robert Lamar Garick

(October 13, 1944 – June 24, 2018)

A Celebration of Life Fellowship will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at the Fellowship Hall of the Sanford Missionary Baptist Church in Seminary for Robert Lamar Garick, 73 of Seminary, who passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at the Mississippi State Veterans Home in Collins.

Elder Joe Lott will officiate at the services. A private family interment will be held at Bullock Cemetery prior to the memorial service. Billy M, King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Garick was born on October 13, 1944 in Seminary, Mississippi. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Mr. Garick retired from Pinrod Oil Company after numerous years of service as a driller. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Mr. Garick was a member of the Sanford Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob Luther Garick and Robbie Henrietta Lowry Garick.

Survivors include his wife, June Phillips Garick of Collins; one daughter, Ina Elizabeth Garick Dull, and her husband, Troy of Elkhart, Indiana; one son, Robert Luther "Luke" Garick of Seminary; one sister, Mildred Garick Pierce, and her husband, Billy of Kingwood, Texas; and three grandchildren, Bailey Dull, Maggie Dull, and Taylor Dull.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Sanford Missionary Baptist Church, Attention: Missions Department, 600 Old Highway 49, Seminary, Mississippi, 39479.
