Robert Hershel White

(November 27, 1972 – February 18, 2025)

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at the Eminence Methodist Church Cemetery in Seminary for Robert Hershel White, 52 of Collins, who passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the Covington County Hospital in Collins, Mississippi.

Reverend Glenn Shoemake will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Eminence Methodist Church Cemetery in Seminary.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers will be a host of family members and friends.

Mr. White was born on November 27, 1972, in Collins, Mississippi, to Wayne and Elizabeth Poole White.  He was a loving son, brother, and uncle.  Mr. White was a handyman by trade.  He was a very caring person and always tried to treat everyone fairly.  Mr. White was a United States Air Force veteran.  He was a member of the Christian faith.  He enjoyed playing his guitar and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Poole White; and his grandmothers, Annie Poole and Virdee White.

Survivors include his father, Wayne White of Collins, MS; two brothers, Tim White (Sabrina) of Purvis and Jimmy White (Demarise) of Collins; one sister, Tammy White Beasley of Collins; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
