A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at The Springs Church in Collins for Roger Dale Anderson, 71 of Seminary, who passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at his residence in Seminary, Mississippi.

Reverend West Garner will officiate at the services. Special music will be provided by Reverend Brian Dickens and Reverend West Garner.  A Private Family interment will be held at a later date at the Union South Baptist Church in Seminary.   Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Anderson was born on March 13, 1951, in St, Louis, Missouri to William Donald Anderson and Virginia H. Boehm Anderson. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Mr., Anderson retired from Mike's Tires in Hattiesburg after twenty-five years of service as an automotive mechanic. He was a member of The Springs Church in Collins.

He was preceded in death by his son, Robert McKinley; his parents William Donald and Virginia H Boehm Anderson; one brother, Walter Donald Anderson; and two sisters, Ann Marie Anderson Walley, and Linda Lee Anderson Smith.

Survivors include his wife of thirty-nine years, Maxine Wade Anderson of Seminary; three daughters, Pam Anderson Wooley of Brookhaven, Abbie Menjibar and Maria Hernandez, both of Seminary; one brother, Johnnie Anderson of Water Valley; two sisters, Crickett Anderson Fiew of Abbeville, and Millie Louise Anderson Fiew (Herchel Scott) of Water Valley.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
