Ronald "Ronnie" Hershel Sanford
(March 4, 1960 – August 19, 2025)

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Ronald "Ronnie" Hershel Sanford, 65 of Moselle, who passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at the Forest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Brother Ronnie Sanford will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Herbert and Hubert Sanford Family Cemetery in Seminary.  Special music will be provided by Reverend Roy and Mrs. Shirli Jean Craft.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive guests from 9:00 am until 10:00 am on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3202 Highway 49, Collins, Mississippi.
Pallbearers will be Steve Walters, Tim Robinson, Gavin Culpepper, Randall Lowery, Richard Boleware, and Clayton Kitchens.
Ronnie loved hunting, fishing, music and hanging out with friends. He worked at Masonite for many years, he drove a propane truck for Herring Gas, and also worked for Dews Foundry. Ronnie loved to walk in the woods and enjoy the outdoors. He loved his kids, grandkids and spending time with family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Captain Hershel Sanford and  Frances Culpepper Sanford.
Survivors include his son, Captain "CJ" Sanford of Moselle; one daughter, Shella Sanford Kitchens (Clayton) of Moselle; three grandchildren, Jenaleigh Kitchens, Bethaneigh Kitchens and Lathan Kitchens; two brothers, Richard Terry Sanford of Seminary and Roger Neil Sanford (Jill) of Seminary and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
