Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at the Union South Baptist Church for Ruby Lowery Wade, 92 of Seminary, who passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at the Covington County Nursing Center in Collins.

Dr. Barry Armstrong and Reverend Glenn Shoemake will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Union South Baptist Church Cemetery in Seminary. Special music will be provided by Mrs. Irell Lee and Reverend Brian Dickens. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at the Union South Baptist Church in Seminary.

Pallbearers will be Rusty Sanford, Jeff Brock, Chris Brown, Brandon Thrash, Steve Harrell, and Caleb Mooney. Honorary pallbearers will be Dakota Brock, Bobby Hebert, and Paul Matheny.

Mrs. Wade was born on November 14, 1924 in Sanford, Mississippi. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. Mrs. Wade was a member of the Union South Baptist Church in Seminary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Jesse Lowery and Bertha Terry Mooney Lowery Wade; her husband, Cecil W. Wade; one son, James Bradford Mooney, two sisters, Dorothy Neal Taylor and Melvina Russell; and two brothers, J.J. Lowery and Bradford Lowery.

Survivors include four daughters, Bertha M. Roberts and her husband, Larry, Vickie M. Harrell and her husband, Billy, and Maxine W. Anderson, and her husband, Roger, all of Seminary, and Teresa W. Herring and her husband, Tim of Beaumont; one son, Archie L. Mooney and his wife, Gloria of Seminary; a daughter-in-law, Patsy Quick Mooney of Seminary; twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; and eight great great-grandchildren.
