Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, February 11, 2019 at the Williamsburg Baptist Church in Collins for Russell Alan Mills, 42 of Collins, who passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at the Covington County Hospital in Collins.

Reverend Wesley Kirkley and Reverend Ronnie Purser will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Mount Horeb Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins.  Special music will be provided by Mrs. Jean Magee and Mrs. Andrea Kirkley.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Monday, February 11, 2019 at the Williamsburg Baptist Church

Pallbearers will be Richard Allen, Zack Burnham, Gerald Buffington, Lucas Carter, Lewis Johnson, Danny Baldwin, Steve Strebeck, Richard McPhail, and Glenn Sasser,.

Mr. Mills was born on November 23, 1976 in New Orleans, Louisiana.  He was a loving son, husband, and step-father.  Mr. Mills worked in the power industry as a lineman.  He was a member of the Dwelling Place Church in Collins..

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Allen Mills; a brother, Michael Mills; his grandparents, Tally and Lydia Allen, James Harvey Mills, and Vera Juanita Hanegan; and numerous aunts and uncles, William T. Allen, Jr., Marshall Allen, Dorothy Dees, Delores Strebeck, Irma Jean Summers, Leroy Allen, Helen Wade, and Jerry Perry.

Survivors include his wife, Rennie Dean Mills of Columbia; his father, James J. Mills of Collins; one step daughter, Nikki Lee of Columbia; one step son, Joey May of Columbia; his aunts and uncles, Leonard and Glenda Mills, Sherry and Lee Scott, Carmon and Don Davis, Jackie and Lewis Johnson, Jerry Dale and Sandra Wade, Linda and Danny Baldwin, Bobby and Gail Allen, Sally and Gerald Buffington, Joanne and Leroy Carter, and Richard and Cindy Allen; and a host of cousins and other family members.
