Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Ryan David Sanford, 45 of Mount Olive, who passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Collins.
Reverend Wesley Kirkley will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Rock Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Mount Olive. Special music will be provided by Mr. Brad Smith. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements,
Visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins.
Pallbearers will be Cody Keys, Colby Neal, Chuck Cotton, Pete Welch, Monroe Pegram, and Ricky Barkley. Honorary pallbearers will be his co-workers from the Covington County Hospital and the ASAP Ambulance Services.
Mr. Sanford was born on April 8, 1971 in Collins, Mississippi. He was employed by the Covington County Hospital and ASAP Ambulance Services as an EMT-I. Mr. Sanford was a member of the Dwelling Place Church in Collins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Sanford.
Survivors include his wife, Charlie Cotton Sanford of Mount Olive; one daughter, Kylie Jade Sanford of Mount Olive; his mother and step-father, Laura McCoy Johnson and Dwight Johnson of Mount Olive; one sister, Dawn Sanford Layton and her husband, Jay of Mount Olive; two nephews, Chance Layton and Dawson Layton; his mother-in-law, Donice Evans of Winnsboro, Louisiana; his father-in-law, Charles Cotton of Brandon; two sisters-in-law, Megan Welch and her husband, Pete of Winnsboro, Louisiana and Cathy Cotton of Pinola; his brother-in-law, Chuck Cotton of Brandon; and a host of aunts, uncles, and other family members.
