Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 2, 2022 at the Open Door Baptist Church in Moselle for Sammy Glen Jordan, 60 of Seminary, who passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at the Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Brother Bill Brown will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Open Door Baptist Church Cemetery in Moselle. Special music will be provided by Ms. Sadie Jordan, Ms. Judy Walters, and Ms. Rene Culpepper. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 2, 2022 at the Open Door Baptist Church, 1832 Monroe Road Moselle, Mississippi 39459.
Pallbearers will be Frankie Broome, Billy Boleware, Troy Montgomery, Matthew Blackburn, Jerry Wren, Eric Atkinson, and Samuel Jordan. Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Smith and Billy Boleware Jr..
Sammy and Sadie were married for 42 years. Sadie was the love of his life.
Sammy worked in the forestry business for 38 years. He loved his family with all his heart. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all who knew him. Sammy was a member of The Open House Baptist Church in Moselle, Mississippi
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Jordan and mother Vera Smith Jordan.
Survivors include his wife, Sadie Boleware Jordan of Seminary, MS; son, Samuel Jordan (Taelor) of Seminary, MS; daughter, Machelle Jordan Weeks (John) of Hattiesburg, MS; brother, Robert Jordan of Seminary, MS; sister, Cathy Jordan Douzat of Bassfield, MS; grandsons, Parker Weeks, Luke Jordan, Kameron Jordan and Waylon Jordan and granddaughter, Kylee Hand.
