Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Sharon Nancy Walley, 71 of Collins, who passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at the Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS.
Brother Dalton Walker and Mrs. Kim Jones will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Collins City Cemetery in Collins. Special music will be provided by Mrs. Shellie Walker. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3302 Hwy 49, Collins, Mississippi.
Pallbearers will be Ethan Walker, Sam Dodd, Michael Dunn, Lucky Bordelon, Bobby Goldman, Andy Timothy, Jason Walley, and Michael Walley.
Mrs. Nancy was born and raised in Louisiana, she married the love of her life Floyd Walley, who was from Alabama, and together they moved to Collins, Mississippi and raised their family. They had been married for thirty-one years. She worked for twenty plus years in the Childcare business at Cradles to Crayons, and for over fifteen years till her retirement at the Covington County Tax Collector/Assessor's office as Deputy Clerk.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Walley; her father, Carl Bendily; three brothers, Raymond Bendily, Bobby Bendily and Jeff Bendily; and two sisters, Kay Dunn, and DeeDee Scarabin.
Survivors include one son, Joshua Walley, and his wife, Briann of Collins; one daughter, Laura Walley Walker of Collins; her mother, Ruth Shaver Bendily of Kosciusko; two sisters, Trudy Bendily (Lucky) of Jonesville, Louisiana, and Shelly Bendily (Sam) of Kosciusko; two grandsons, Ethan Walker, and his wife Brittany of Columbia, and Dalton Walker, and his wife, Shellie of Ellisville; two great-grandchildren, Dawson Billings, and Rosie Kate Billings; and a host of nieces and nephews.
