Sherry Gaile Mann Matlage
(June 13, 1953 – February 24, 2022)

Sherry Gaile Mann Matlage, age 68 of Pearl, MS passed away from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at the Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. She was born Saturday, June 13, 1953, in Collins, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home at 3302 Hwy 49, Collins, Mississippi.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Billy M. King Funeral Home in Collins, MS. The burial will follow at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins, Mississippi. Pastor James Little will officiate. Special music will be provided by Brent Arinder, and Lorin Arinder. Billy M. King Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-765-1010

Mrs. Sherry was a member of Faith Family Church of God in Brandon, MS.  She was a member of the praise and worship team.  She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.  She enjoyed listening to her music, sewing, quilting and embroidery projects, working in her yard with her flowers, and most of all spending time with her family and friends.  She will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Rufus Durell "RD" Mann; and her mother, Cordia Arinder Mann.

Survivors include her loving daughter, Cherri Matlage of Pearl, MS; sister, Betty Mann Pritchett (Wallace) of Collins, MS; ex-husband, Edwin Matlage of Clinton, MS; and a host of other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
