Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Shirley Annette Aultman Yawn, 80 of Hammond, Louisiana, who passed away on Friday, June 23, 2017 at the North Oaks Medical Center.
Bishop James E. Carney will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Ora Cemetery. Special music will be provided by Justin Conway and Billy Douglas. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Youssif Elfeituri, Ezzeddin Elfeituri, Ramzi Elfeituri, Ali Elfeituri, Brandon Capello, and Trey Ross.
Mrs. Yawn was born on September 4, 1936 in Sumrall, Mississippi. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. Mrs. Yawn was a member of the Woodlawn Church in Columbia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernie and Ermie Mae Coulter Aultman; her husband, Granville Ramsey Yawn, Sr.; and two sisters, Lola Aultman Logan, and Laverne Aultman Collins.
Survivors include three daughters, Bette D. Yawn of Metairie, Louisiana, Donna Rose of Sumrall, and Jo Ann Yawn of Hammond, Louisiana; one son, Granville R. Yawn, Jr. of Hattiesburg; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
