Obituary

Graveside Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at the Williamsburg Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins for Steven Whytt Stewart, 63 of Macon, who passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at his brother's residence in Sumrall, Mississippi.

Brother Dewey Cannon will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Williamsburg Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Honorary pallbearers will be John A. Stewart, Robert D. Stewart, Jack Ponder, Chad Stewart, Bobby Taylor, Dewey Cannon, and Earl Long.

Mr. Stewart was born on January 27, 1957 in Houston, Texas to Bobby Whytt Stewart and Maude McLendon Stewart.  He retired from Direct Foods after working for numerous years as a salesman.  Mr. Stewart was a member of the Williamsburg Baptist Church in Collins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Whytt Stewart and Maude McLendon Stewart

Survivors include two daughters, Stephanie Stewart of Dalton, Georgia and LaDonna Stewart Goff of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee; one sister, Peppa Stewart Ponder, and her husband, Jack of Mount Olive; two brothers, Robert D. Stewart, and his wife Wanda of Collins, and John A. Stewart, and his wife, Portia of Sumrall; two granddaughters, Alyssa and Ivy; and a host of nieces and nephews.
