Sue Blackwell White
January 13, 1932 – July 29, 2023

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Sue Blackwell White, 91 of Seminary, who passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at the Magnolia Place in Sumrall, Mississippi.
Dr. Timothy Hubbard will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Lebanon Baptist Church in Seminary. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive guests from 3:00 p.m. until service time on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins.
Mrs. White spent her life as a loving and supporting wife to her career military husband. She was lifelong member of the Seminary Baptist Church in Seminary, Mississippi.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene White; her parents, Hurst and Winnie Blackwell; two brothers, Douglas Blackwell and Basil Blackwell; and one sister, Betty Blackwell Palmer.
Survivors include one son, Danny White of Collins, MS.; two brothers, Billy Blackwell of Hattiesburg, and Scotty Blackwell (Bonnie) of the Oak Grove Community; and a host of nieces and nephews.
