Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for T. Weber Rogers, 88 of Seminary, who passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at his residence.
Brother Clay Ingram will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Bullock Cemetery in Seminary. Special music will be provided by Mrs. Happy Sullivan. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive guests 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3202 Highway 49, Collins, Mississippi.
Pallbearers will be Colby Mars, Brandon Mars, Michael Rogers, Jason Kitchens, Colton Burden, Chad Pipkins, and Kit Broom.
T.W. was born on February 24, 1937, in Waynesboro, Mississippi. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy, during the Korean War. He retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding in 1999, after a forty-year career. T.W. was an avid fisherman. He loved to catch catfish on the Okatoma River. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to all who knew him and he will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty plus years, Jolyn Brock Rogers; one daughter, Cynthia Diane "Cindy" Moore; his parents, Wilford Rogers and Ernestine Buckley Navarre; one brother, Gene Paul Wright; and one sister, Gwendolyn Rogers Rushton.
Survivors include his son, Mike Rogers (Vesta) of Hurley; two daughters, Kelly Rogers (Terry) of Seminary, and Stephanie Holder (Dion) of Hurley; one brother, Roy Rogers; seven grandchildren, Jason Kitchens (Ashley) of Ocean Springs, Colby Mars (Jessica) of Seminary, Brandon Mars (Micaila) of Seminary, Colton Burden of Perkinston and Michael Rogers (Kyla) of Helena, Baleigh Pipkins (Chad) of Hurley, and Anna Grace Broom (Kit) of Petal; twelve great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
