Teresa Dianne Cook

(June 21, 1954 – September 13, 2023)

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Teresa Dianne Cook, 69 of Collins, who passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at the Care Center in Laurel, MS.

Brother Wesley Kirkley will officiate the services.  A private family interment will be at a later date at the Collins City Cemetery. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3202 Highway 49, Collins, Mississippi, 39428.

Honorary pallbearers will be Noah Watts, Nicholas Watts, Riley Osborne, Dale Greenlee, Bradley Roney, and Kyle Peavy.

Mrs. Cook was born on June 21, 1954 in Shelby, Tennessee to James Harold Bohanan, Jr. and Laura Kelly Bradley Bohanan.  She was a 1972 graduate of Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama.  Mrs. Cook was a loving wife, mother, nana, and sister. To know her, was to love her! If you were her friend, count your blessings!  She was fun loving and a lover of life. Dianne never met a stranger. Family was always first and her grandkids were her passion. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends and all who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband of forty years, Carroll McKinney Cook; her parents, James Harold Bohanan, Jr. and Laura Kelly Bradley Bohanan; three brothers, Edward Bohanan, Michael Bohanan, and Robert Bohanan.

Survivors include one son, Warren Eugene Watts (Amy) of Alabaster, AL; one daughter, Stefanie Cook of Collins, MS; three grandchildren, Noah Watts, Nicholas Watts, and Natalie Watts; and a sister Linda Bohanan of GA.
