Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at the Jesus Name Holy Hill Church of God in Mount Olive for Terril Lynn "Terry" Maness Caves, 64 of Mount Olive, who passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the Covington County Hospital in Collins.
Reverend Larry Dennis, Jr. will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Jesus Name Holy Hill Church of God Cemetery in Mount Olive. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at the Jesus Name Holy Hill Church of God in Mount Olive.
Pallbearers will be Sean Dennis, Ashton Maness, Nathaniel Caves, Alex Castillo, Skylar Maness, Matthew Higgins, and Cody Maness. Honorary pallbearers will be Scotty McMahan, Harrison J. Caves, Richard Bond, and Jeff Parrett.
Mrs. Caves was born on December 8, 1953 in DeKalb, Illinois. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. Mrs. Caves was a Christian by faith. She enjoyed being with her family, cooking, gardening, and crafting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Chris Maness and Dorris Fredrickson Maness; one brother, Johnny Maness; and two sisters, Phyllis Maness and Donna Rudnicky.
Survivors include her husband of twenty-three years, Harold R. Caves of Mount Olive; seven sons, Kelly Maness (Jennifer) of Brooklyn, James Maness (Jonnie) of Mount Olive, William Maness of Magee, Roger Schofield of Mount Olive, Kevin Ray Caves (Brandi) of Mount Olive, Matthew Higgins of Mount Olive, and Jonah Caves of Mount Olive; three daughters, Tiffany Maness of Mount Olive, Kristian Castillo (Marbin) of Mobile, Alabama, and Heather Caves of Mount Olive; eighteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers, Gary Maness of Arkansas, Jerry Maness of Sycamore, Illinois, and Ricky Bradshaw of Wisconsin; one sister, Joyce Elliot of DeKalb, Illinois; and a host of nieces and nephews
