Terry Lynn McRaney

(April 25, 1960 – January 3, 2023)

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at the Lone Star United Methodist Church in Collins for Terry Lynn McRaney, 62 of Clinton, who passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at his residence.

Reverend James Walters will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Lone Star Cemetery in Collins.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. McRaney was born on April 25, 1960, in Santa Ana, California to Curtis Doyle and Renette Coulter McRaney.  He graduated with an Associates of Arts degree from Hinds Community College and also attended Mississippi College.  Mr. McRaney retired from United Parcel Services after thirty-eight years of service as a truck driver.  He was a member of the Methodist faith.  Mr. McRaney was a loving son, brother, and uncle. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Irvin and Lillie Mae Penton Coulter, and Larue and Mary Jane McRaney.

Survivors include his parents, Curtis Doyle and Renette Coulter McRaney of Collins; one brother, Curtis Craig McRaney (Tammy) of Vicksburg; two nephews, Sean Patrick McRaney (Dana), and Christopher Craig McRaney (Hannah); five great nieces and nephews, Lydia, Liam, Laney, Cohen, and Ellis Claire; and a host of other family members and friends.
