Thomas 'Hobnob' Ainsworth

(January 1, 1937 – September 27, 2019)

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 4, 2019 at Lone Star Baptist Church in Collins for Thomas Monroe Ainsworth, 82 of Collins, who passed away on Friday, September 27, 2019 at the Mississippi State Veterans Home in Collins.

Bro. Daniel Lee will officiate the services with interment to follow in the Old Chapel Cemetery in Collins.   Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Friday, October  4, 2019 at Lone Star Baptist Church, 410 Lone Star Road, Collins, MS 39428.

Pallbearers will be Cody Blackburn, Mike McQueen, Greg Saulters, William Blackburn, Andy Ainsworth and John McGregor.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Ainsworth, parents, Thomas and Genie Ainsworth, and  sister, Frances Blackwell.

Survivors include his daughters, Elizabeth Sanford (Brad), Susan Blackburn (Allen), son, Thomas Ainsworth Jr, grandchildren, Cody Blackburn, Jenna Sanford, Lindsey Sanford, Brooke Sanford, twin brother, Alan Ainsworth (Annette), and a host of nieces and nephews.
