The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3202 Highway 49, Collins, MS.
Tim was born on September 17, 1965, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to Charles Vesta McGlocklin, and Jane McQueen McGlocklin. He was a graduate of Puckett High School Class of 1984. Tim was the owner and operator of McGlocklin Welding Services in Mount Olive. He was a member of the Salem Baptist Church in Collins.
Tim was a loving son, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Tim never missed a chance to celebrate with them. He was an avid gun and knife collector and usually always had a gun on him. He stayed strapped. Tim was loved by all, especially animals. His porch was constantly overrun with his little critters like raccoons, squirrels, birds, and many more. He was firm in his beliefs, but who isn't. Tim was the funniest man around. He especially doted on his grandchildren and enjoyed spending quality time with them. To know him, was to love him. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Vesta McGlocklin; a son, Zachary Lee McGlocklin; his sister, Patricia Leigh McGlocklin Maddox; and his grandparents, Vesta Lee McGlocklin and Frances Ogden McGlocklin, and Charles Ramsey McQueen, and Lucille Sartin McQueen.
Survivors include two daughters, Alisa McGlocklin Thomas, and her husband, Dylan of Meridian, and Summer McGlocklin of Collins; one son, Chase McGlocklin of Collins; his mother, Jane McQueen McGlocklin of Collins; one brother, Kelly McGlocklin of Collins; six grandchildren, Lane Creel, Layton Creel, Mila Thomas, Lawson Thomas, Nevaeh LaBiche, and Landon LaBiche; two nieces, Victoria Maddox Fortenberry, and her husband, Matt, and Elizabeth Leigh McGlocklin; one nephew, Evan Ramsey McGlocklin; and one great niece, Anna Leigh Fortenberry, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
