Tommy D. Loftin

(May 4, 1934 – August 3, 2020)

A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at the Lone Star Cemetery in Collins for Tommy D. Loftin, 86 of Collins, who passed away on Monday, August 3, 2020 at the Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.

Reverend James Walters will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Lone Star Cemetery in Collins.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers will be his family and friends.

Mr. Loftin was born on May 4, 1934 in Collins, Mississippi.  He worked for numerous years as a mechanic for Gibson Buick in Collins, and later worked as a salesman at C & O Auto Parts before his retirement.  Mr. Loftin was a United States Air Force veteran.  He was a member of the Lone Star United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Gracie McRaney Loftin.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Tomi Cheryl and David Burnette of Collins; and a host of cousins and other family members.
