Tommy Don Rawls
(May 4, 1949 – May 8, 2025)

Graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the Willow Grove Baptist Church in Collins for Tommy Don Rawls, 76 of Seminary, who passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at the Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg.

Reverend Lee Faler will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Willow Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins.  Special music will be provided by Brenna Kelley.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

The Family will receive guests from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3202 Highway 49, Collins, Mississippi.

Pallbearers will be sons and grandsons.

Mr. Rawls was born on May 4, 1949, in Covington County, Mississippi to Earnest Rawls Sr. and Alma Riels Rawls.  He retired from the oil industry after many years of service as a driller.  Mr. Rawls was a member of the Willow Grove Baptist Church in Collins.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.  Mr. Rawls loved his family and will be greatly missed by them all.

He was preceded in death by his son, Kenny Rawls; his parents, Earnest Rawls Sr. and Alma Riels Rawls; two brothers, Earnest Rawls, Jr. and Mike Rawls; and one sister, Etta Rawls Tawam.

Survivors include his wife of forty-eight years, Barbara Dale Walker Rawls of Seminary; two sons, Stacy Rawls and Tommy Frank Rawls (Tami), both of Alabama; two daughters, Lora Holifield (Bubba) and Sonya Kelley (Jimmy), both of Laurel; two sisters, Ree Rawls Brown of New Caney, Texas, and Bobbie Rawls Welborn of Jackson;  and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
